  • Are all braids and Valiers interchangeable?

    • 100%! The design of our product has evolved over 8 years, offering you the most convenient and affordable user experience. HairValier's brilliant interchangeable system eliminates the need to purchase a new braid for each new Valier. Our universal attachment means one braid fits all. So, start collecting!

  • How do I attach and detach the Valier from the braid?

    • It's all about the gold bayonet clasps!

      Each braid and Valier is capped with a gold end piece called a bayonet clasp.

      To attach: Use one hand to firmly pinch the clasp of the braid while the other hand pinches the clasp of the Valier, then, simply, connect.

      To detach: Use one hand to firmly pinch the clasp of the braid while the other hand pinches the clasp of the Valier, then pull apart. Avoid pulling from the braid or charm to prevent damage to the HairValier. 

  • How do I Attach the Clip to my Hair?

    • 1: Section a layer of hair and set aside.

      2: Snap open the clip and insert it in place underneath the sectioned layer; snap the clip back to close and secure. 

      3. Replace the sectioned layer to hide the clip. 

  • How do I know which braid length I should wear?

    • General rule of thumb: For short hair, use the 6" braid. For long hair, use the 10" braid.

      If you fall somewhere in-between, follow this easy 2-step guide:

      1) Find the measurement of your desired Valier listed in the product details section. Add this measurement to either the 6" or 10" braid. This is your TOTAL measurement.

      2) Determine the lowest point at which you wish your HairValier to hang and measure from that point up to determine where the clip will attach per your TOTAL measurement.

  • Does the braid need to be installed at a salon?

    • No. The beauty of a HairValier is that it does not require in-salon installment! Each braid comes equipped with a clip, allowing you to "clip in" or "clip out" on your own at any time!

  • Can the braid be reused?

    • Yes. Each braid comes equipped with a clip, so you can "clip in" and "clip out" as many times as you wish!

  • Can I wear multiple colored braids?

    • Absolutely, and we couldn't encourage it more!

  • Can I wear Two different sized braids?

    • Without a doubt! We think a layered look rocks!

  • What color braid should I get if I have red hair?

    • We find that the brown color matches best with red hair tones! Stay tuned, a red braid color option will be available soon!

  • Is the braid real human hair?

    • No! There is no need for real human hair because hair dryers, flat irons, and curling irons are not necessary, plus they do not work on braids.

  • How do I store my Valiers?

    • Care for your Valiers as you would any other item of jewelry! You will find that some Valiers are more delicate than others. We recommend storing them flat in order to avoid any unwanted creases or dents... especially the butterfly and feather designs!

  • Can I wear a HairValier in the water?

    • We do not recommend wearing a HairValier in water as it may affect the longevity of the product.

  • Can I flat iron my hair while wearing a HairValier?

    • No. Please avoid using any styling tool while wearing a HairValier.

  • Can I use a curling iron while wearing a HairValier?

    • No. Please avoid using any styling tool while wearing a HairValier.

  • Can I blow-dry my hair while wearing a HairValier?

    • No. Please avoid using any styling tool while wearing a HairValier.

  • How Do I Check My Order Status?

  • I Cannot Find The Answers To My Questions, How Do I Reach Customer Service?

  • When Will My Order Ship?

    • All orders are processed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail within 2 business days. Once your package ships, expect your order to arrive in 1-4 days.

  • How Do I Track My Package After It Has Been Shipped?

    • Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. Use this number to track your package.

  • Does HairValier Ship Internationally?

    • Not at the moment. We plan to ship internationally soon, stay tuned!

  • Can I Cancel Or Make Changes To My Order?

    • We generally process orders within 2 business days, but we’re usually much faster. Once we’ve fulfilled and shipped your order, we are unable to cancel or make any changes.

  • How Do I Use A Coupon or Promo Code?

    • Add your selections to your shopping cart and continue to checkout. On the right-hand side, insert the promo code/coupon into the Discount code box, then click Apply. Your discount will be automatically applied to your order and reflected in your order total. Only one code can be used per order. Please be advised that promo codes cannot be applied to previous purchases. Some exclusions apply.
